The Cane Creek rebuild kit does give you a bullet tool. During assembly it's place on the end of the shaft, and allows the seals to up and onto the shaft. It's very helpful when reassembling the shock. You can either buy the Cane Creek kit once to get the tool, or you can buy the Risse Racing 1.5" bullet tool for $10:

where can I buy the standard size O rings from? I am in south Florida
ReplyDeleteO-rings are available online from Amazon or McMaster-Carr, and the wiper is available online from MFP Seals. Locally, everything should be available at your local hydraulic supply house.
